Please excuse the caption below the picture.... This was known as the canteen and the place to go on Friday's if it was your night to go. My old girlfriend (Janet) was in Unit 3 I was in Fallsington, a few times a month we were able to meet up there if our behavior allowed it. There use to be a pool table as well as a few arcade games, I remember one incident where a client went crazy and started throwing pool balls, I later found out this was a ploy to catch the staff's attention in order for another client to run away. I remember like it was yesterday, one girl got hit, I was near the kid who was throwing the pool balls, it was such a shock to me I froze. Before the staff could do anything he fell to the floor and faked a seizure.....
i remember the canteen. it was commonly used as a ploy for kids to run away..i tried once with a kid named steve and we didnt get too far...lol.a spanish lady that worked there caught us and tackled me..i dont think i tried again.
ReplyDeleteCynthia, Feel free to e-mail me if you want to chat. I never ran away from there, but I'm sure if I tried I could of, the security there was not top notch to say the least. I remember one time when I was in Fallsington somebody romed onto the property and was laying down on the grass (I could see this from my bedroom window) security came and escorted them out.

Not Roberta! (She was my teacher!! LOL) I meant Rowena! (I knew it was an R name. ) And I think my other teacher was Mr. Goldman. I forget the other teacher. She was so nice. A petite, beautiful LONG haired brunette. I wished SHE was my mom...her or Miss Roberta. :-)
